Time-tracking without Time Entry? It’s a Thing Now. 

Our Rego experts just built an incredibly cool interface integrating Rally Software ® with Clarity PPM that allows time-tracking without time entry. The client that inspired the integration already used both Scrum and Kanban with a high degree of maturity, so the integration focused on time tracking and portfolio reporting.

It’s a solid integration made great by time tracking.

With Kanban, engineers pull user stories through their queue. They have WIP (work in process) limits only allowing one active user story at a time. Our interface acts like a timer on active stories, so those using Kanban never have to worry about tracking time.  

In short, Rego now has a method to support time tracking without time entry. Our clients are ecstatic—and so are we!

Integrations on the Rise

We’ve seen a spike in the number of clients feeling a sense of urgency to move to Agile. The biggest eye opener for us was a major banking client we didn’t think would shift for several more years. They admitted that Team Foundation Server (TFS) will not cut it for them, so now they’re acquiring Agile Central licenses.
