Rego University 2026 is coming to the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk, September 14–17, bringing together Clarity users, PMO leaders, and Rego experts for several days of hands-on learning and practical problem-solving. The event includes interactive classes, labs, live demos, and opportunities to learn directly from people who work with Clarity and SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) every day.
And this year, that hands-on experience is getting even more emphasis. Alyson Poston, Rego’s Chief Customer Success Officer, explained that the Rego team used customer feedback to rethink the class format, with more exercises, labs, and sandbox time, so attendees can try things before taking them back to their own teams.
You’ll also see a lot of innovative conversations around AI in Clarity, new reporting, resource management, intake and prioritization, collaborative work management, and SPM. But just as important, you’ll have plenty of time to compare notes with other organizations and hear what’s working in the real world. The value of peer learning comes up again and again when you talk to this year’s instructors.
So, who will you be learning from? Meet a few of the Rego experts you’ll see in San Antonio.

Wes McCoubrie
President
Wes brings more than 15 years of SPM/PPM experience and is heavily involved in Rego’s Broadcom ValueOps work. He’s excited about seeing AI move from theory into real deployed use cases. But he’s also watching the governance side closely, especially the risk of disconnected AI solutions emerging across teams without adequate visibility or guardrails.

Jacob Cancelliere
General Manager
Jacob brings more than 20 years of SPM/PPM and PMO experience, with a strong focus on resource management and sustainable portfolio practices. His biggest advice for first-time attendees: talk to people outside your own organization and use the lunches and social time to hear how other teams are solving the same problems.

Peter Hughes
Vice President, EMEA and Innovation
Peter leads Rego’s innovation work and is focused heavily on where AI fits into Clarity and strategic portfolio management. His take is refreshingly grounded: AI can help people work faster, spot patterns, and make better decisions, but it still needs human judgment.

Alyson Poston
Chief Customer Success Officer
Alyson has spent nearly two decades helping IT leaders, PMOs, and project managers get more from Clarity and SPM/PPM. At RegoU, she’s especially excited that sessions will be more hands-on, so attendees can explore the tools, apply what they learn, and build practical experience.

Matthew Palicki
Senior Advisor, Strategic Portfolio Management
Matthew focuses on SPM and is especially excited about the more interactive format at this year’s RegoU. He points to hands-on sessions, client stories, roundtables, and peer learning as some of the best opportunities to leave with ideas you can bring back to your own organization.

Lulu Wang
Reporting Consultant
Lulu has 15 years of experience in reporting and data and now helps Rego clients build reporting strategies and Power BI environments. She’s looking forward to hands-on reporting sessions this year and says one of the biggest benefits of RegoU is realizing other organizations are often working through the exact same technical and process challenges.

Brian Toplicar
Senior Solutions Advisor
Brian works with customers on Clarity best practices and product demonstrations. He’s especially interested in practical AI use cases, but he’s quick to point out that AI is not an “easy button.” It still depends on the people, context, and institutional knowledge inside an organization.

Mike Pokorny
Solutions Architect
Mike has more than a decade of Clarity experience and works with customers on both tactical and strategic implementation decisions. One RegoU session he’s especially looking forward to is the Failure Forum because there’s a lot to learn from implementations that were challenging, not just the ones that went perfectly!

Brian Hazelzet
Clarity Functional Consultant
Brian focuses on helping organizations get more value from Clarity, especially around intake, prioritization, and demand management. He sees a strong intake model as foundational: it helps teams prioritize ideas, protect capacity, and connect incoming work to strategy.

Hayley Surmann
Functional Lead

Steve Winchester
Moventus Line of Business Lead
Steve is leading the launch of Rego’s new collaborative work management (CMW) platform, Moventus. He’s particularly interested in talking with attendees about everyday work problems — visibility, transparency, knowing who is doing what — and how teams can make that work easier and more efficient.
