Rego University 2023: Meet the Apptio Instructors

Tim Pietro has spent his career pioneering new solutions that empower companies to leverage enhanced visibility into their IT spending to redistribute more toward growth and transformation. He spent the majority of his twenty-five-year career at Cisco Systems in IT, followed by leadership roles at VMware and ServiceNow.

Tim has been a key part of the cross-industry team that developed the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework. In addition to his role at Rego Consulting as Vice President of Business Development, he continues to cultivate a strong presence throughout the industry as a member of the TBM Council Steering Committee and has recently been published in the Amazon best seller, The Next CIO. Tim has also been invited to the White House multiple times to help support the United States CIO on the 2023 TBM Public Sector mandate and continues to support that effort.

His focus is on operationalizing TBM across the IT Organization with a focus on organizational change management and governance.

Hollie is an experienced Technology Business Management (TBM) and IT Financial Management (ITFM) professional with over eighteen years of hands-on expertise in the field. She is a pioneer in the adoption of the TBM framework and processes, having successfully implemented it across multiple large organizations, including Coca-Cola, Cox Enterprises, Cox Communications, and Keurig Dr Pepper.

As Principal Strategic Advisor at Rego Consulting, she shares her expertise in maximizing IT investments, reducing costs, and enhancing operational efficiency through the effective application of TBM and ITFM principles.

Eric is veteran Technology Business Management Analyst (TBMA) with an MBA, and PMP and ETBMA certifications. He has extensive experience with Apptio product implementation, configuration, optimization, reporting, and troubleshooting. Eric also specializes in IT and business project management, Lean Six Sigma projects, data analysis, IT change and release management, and end user training.

With nine years of TBM and Apptio experience, PJ feels privileged to have worked closely with Fortune 100 companies across industries including aerospace, oil & gas, banking, insurance, healthcare, and manufacturing. He strives to drive TBM adoption by assisting clients in their TBM journey of aligning IT cost, consumption, and performance. PJ deeply enjoys collaborating with clients and employing best practices, as well as those that use creative, non-standard approaches.

Chris has been working on software implementations for over thirteen years in various capacities from project management to customer success to architecting product solutions. Before coming to Rego, Chris spent ten years at Apptio in a variety of roles and most recently was at Cloudera. He is an avid skier and off-road motorcyclist and is in the process of getting his private pilot license.

Rob has twenty years of experience in technology, management, and financial services. He is a subject matter expert in the IT Planning suite of Apptio products, having worked at Apptio for over six years before joining Rego Consulting as a Senior Apptio Consultant.

Rob has implemented IT Planning, Project Financial Planning, Demand Planning, ITMF (IT Financial Management) and ApptioOne for companies of all sizes, including multiple Fortune 100 companies and government agencies.

Data Visibility and Access Controls in ApptioOne

Stewart Kasen is a Senior Rego Cloudability Guide, Certified FinOps Practitioner, and Certified Agile Scrum Master. He began his career at Ford Motor Company where he guided teams in their journey from traditional IT delivery teams to Agile Product Teams. Before joining Rego Consulting, he worked at Apptio helping new and existing customers improve their FinOps capabilities.

A leader in finance software training and implementation, Kylie has seventeen years of experience, including over five years working with Apptio. Kylie has partnered with enterprise and strategic clients on all stages of Apptio deployment including gathering requirements, documenting solutions, and utilizing data relationships to create financial models for actuals, budget, and forecasting. She has extensive experience in configuring, testing, and documenting dashboards and reports to meet client needs. She also advises leadership and Technology Business Management offices (TBMOs) on change management, IT financing socialization, and best practices.
