What is Tasktop?
Tasktop was founded in 2007 and has been a Broadcom partner since the end of 2021. It is considered the leading Agile and DevOps integration company. You can use Tasktop to connect Clarity and Rally to over 60 tools and over 300 versions of those tools. One of the reasons it is such a valuable tool is that Tasktop continually tests it to ensure that it can accommodate the latest version releases. They run 500K API tests every day. Tasktop supports small teams as well as thousands of users.
The ValueOps Connectors support:
- Three types of integrations including bidirectional synchs
- Point-and-click and out-of-the-box configurations
- Model-based integrations
- Maintaining artifact relationships such as parent-child
- Feature parity with direct customers
The Three Types of Integrations
Benefits of ValueOps Connectors powered by Tasktop
The most salient benefit of Tasktop is a great decrease in the need for custom-created (and often expensively created) human-written code or heavily edited dated code. These “workarounds” often require considerable human effort and may not easily adjust to updated software versions. These connectors work in a point-in-click way, making creating integrations remarkably simple.
The benefits of Tasktop in tandem with Clarity and Rally include,
- It helps remove silos by connecting business solutions
- Increases the opportunity to communicate between teams
- Decreases duplicate work and communication errors
- Provides increased access to data sets previously “held” in other business solutions
- Accelerates time to value and helps automate processes
- Improves monitoring for compliance and continuous improvement
- Decreases time to map connections drastically
- Connects to most OOTB and custom field types
“Broadcom’s ValueOps Connectors powered by Tasktop help uncover data lost in silos, the key to unlocking all information needed for effective value stream management.”
– Dr. Mik Kersten, CEO at Tasktop
