The Challenge:

The client was using a combination of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project Server to manage PPM at their organization. As an existing ServiceNow customer, they wanted to leverage the platform benefits for PPM.

The Solution:

The project sponsor had worked with Rego Consulting at her previous employer and was pleased with Rego’s guidance and expertise. As a result, she reached out to Rego to assist with this implementation.

Because the client required platform governance and best-practice consulting, Rego scheduled a project management office (PMO) process review to understand current methods and develop optimal processes that aligned with ServiceNow’s out-of-the-box functionality.

Rego followed a Crawl/Walk/Run implementation approach to phase in new functionality and optimize user adoption. Executive-level reporting is critical for the client, so multiple custom reports were created through the Service Portal.

The Results:

The client now has a robust PPM solution that allows them to effectively manage work and report to the executive leadership team.
