The Challenge

Adventist wanted to replace their current IT PMO solution with a solution that could serve as a stronger work management tool within IT and could expand into the EPMO. Workfront was selected as the solution that best met the needs of Adventist Health. Rego was selected as the implementation partner to assist with

  • Establishing a federated model for the different groups (IT PMO and EPMO) to control access/visibility
  • Consolidating project intake process
  • Developing process for steering committee to receive notifications of project requests, review then approve/reject before converting request to a project
  • Migrate historical project data

The Solution

Rego recommended and assisted in implementing the following​:

  • Mapping and improving core processes to standardize effective workflows
  • Formalizing new processes within Workfront 
  • Established IT PMO and EPMO with enterprise governance guidelines and separate access and visibility for each group


This is an in-process engagement. Current results include:

  • Time to market and quality have both improved
  • Leadership now uses Workfront to monitor demand and adjust resourcing to manage seasonal flows in marketing activity 
  • Rego has been asked to roll this process out to other teams across the business, including driving a deep dive on international process improvement
